WeWebU MobileWorkdesk with Process Support now Available on the iPhone and iPad mini

Herzogenaurach, 12/17/2012 – WeWebU Software AG, the maker of OpenWorkdesk, has announced the new release of its mobile Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution MobileWorkdesk. It now brings real ECM not only on the iPad, but also on the iPhone and iPad mini. Thus, mobile users can shrink their whole ECM system with all relevant corporate documents, data, and functions down to pocket size. They can access them and participate in processes from wherever they are.

Furthermore, with WeWebU MobileWorkdesk, users do not only consume this information on their mobile devices but also take an active part in document creation and processing. “WeWebU MobileWorkdesk now allows managers to look at documents and approve them ‘on the fly’ also with their iPhone. The new processing application of WeWebU MobileWorkdesk presents users the respective inboxes and dynamic folder structures they need according to their business role. These inboxes and folders automatically provide users with the documents they require for their current tasks without searching. For example, the manager finds invoices to be approved by him in his inbox named “Invoices”. Using the new “Edit document properties” function, he sets a resubmission date of an invoice, modifies the status, assigns it to a colleague, or simply releases it for payment. Hence, he and other users can easily approve documents from on the road. Processes do not stop only because a decision-maker is in the field. All information is available to all people involved without any loss of time, no matter where they are or which device they use.
